Skerries Surgery have now introduced an acute urgent care clinic which is available to our patients who are sick on the day.

This clinic opens at 9am and patients are welcome to phone from 9am to book in on the day. Minor and sudden illness are covered in this clinic and the GP will deal with one issue only at the consultation, so we can see as many as possible throughout this clinic. On busier days this clinic may be full by 9.30am and staff may offer to place you on a cancellation list if the acute care clinic is fully booked.

Our staff have been asked to enquire as to what your medical concern is at the time of booking so the GP will be ready for each medical concern throughout this acute clinic session.

Please note our GPs are taking turns doing this clinic and you may not always see your preferred choice of GP at this clinic. Routine appointments can be made a few days in advance with your GP of choice.
